Why raise funds via REAMERGE?
REAMERGE makes raising capital for your investment easier. Submitting your application, receiving approval, listing and funding can all be completed faster than dealing with banks or credit unions. Additionally you can obtain competitive rates on debt investment deals when compared to other sources of financing.
Is there a funding fees once I am listed?
Companies/Entrepeneurs that raise capital through our investment platform will be required to reimburse REAMERGE for expenses related to legal, accounting and compliance costs.
How long would fundraise take?
It depends on individual investment opportunities. Usually it is within 2-4 weeks.
Is my information confidential?
When we do our due diligence process after application submission, the information regarding the business is confidential while its in the evaluation period. However, once it is listed, we will share with investors a pre-approved set of information for them to make informed investment decision.
Is my information secure?
REAMERGE uses state of the art 128-bit encryption on our website. This is the same level of encryption used by top banks. For added security, we never store your banking information on our servers and automatically log you out of your account after 15 minutes of inactivity.
Where are my funds transferred to?
All funds transferred to an FDIC backed bank. If the target amount is not met 100% of the funds are returned back to the investor.
Does REAMERGE comply with Federal and State securities laws?
Yes. REAMERGE is supported by securities lawyers with extensive experience in private offerings and the JOBS Act. For now, all offerings on REAMERGE are private placements exempt from registration under the Securities Act of 1933 and State securities laws pursuant to Rule 506(b) and Rule 506(c) of SEC Regulation D. Offerings made under Rule 506(b) are limited to accredited investors and up to 35 sophisticated non-accredited investors. Offerings made under Rule 506(c) are limited to accredited investors only.
How does REAMERGE differ from sites like Prosper and Lending Club?
There are many differences, a few fundamental ones:
- Prosper and Lending Club have publicly-registered their securities and are not allowed to accept lenders in some states, like Texas and New Jersey. Because all of our offerings are private placements under Rule 506, we can accept investors from all states.
- Prosper and Lending Club have investments in UNSECURED consumer debt financing. REAMERGE is strictly a crowdfunding platform for raising capital debt investment deal SECURED by the real estate. These investments are for businesses.
